What Is Outdoor Adventures Club?

Outdoor Adventures Club is a voluntary after-school enrichment where students explore outdoor and survival skills through hands-on, collaborative activities. Students build confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills in a supportive outdoor environment.

What Does a Class Look Like?

Each 45-minute session includes:
• 5 min — Arrival & intention
• 30 min — Hands-on activity
• 5 min — Reflection & clean-up
• 5 min — Closing circle

​What Will Students Do?

Each session focuses on learning through doing:
• Build and test water filtration systems
• Learn how plants grow
• Practice knots and shelter building
• Learn fire safety and responsibility
• Participate in teamwork challenges

• Clear expectations
• Supervised at all times
• Activities designed for learning and observation
