Years ago, I made this piece and gave it to my mom.  Out of all the creations that have come out of my shop, this has always been her favorite. It lives on her coffee table, where she's looked at it every day since.

As I prepared to begin this journey, she made one thing very clear:

"Don't forget to take Ironwood Eyes, on the journey to live at the grove"

That reminded me of something important.  The value of a creation isn't measured by what someone is willing to pay for it.  Sometimes it's measured by the place it holds in someone's life.

Ironwood Eyes is the first gifts in what is now The Gifts of the World—a collection of creations that were never meant to simply be owned, but to become part of someone's story.
