FlowerGator is one of the most unique hybrid works in the DAC collection — sculpted from shaggy alligator mesquite this piece tells two contrasting epoxy stories.
On one side, hand-poured epoxy catches a rose in positioned like a watchful eye. The petals appear frozen mid-bloom.
Flip the piece over and a completely different world emerges — a blue and green epoxy flow that spills off the mesquite like a small river breaking past its banks. The contrast between the frozen rose and the moving color creates a dual nature: part creature, part landscape, part instinct.
This piece is unpredictable even by DAC standards — a rare blend of texture, grain, resin, and contrast that gives FlowerGator its name and presence.
