These bookends are carved from a single block of reclaimed eucalyptus, cut into two matching halves to create a balanced, natural-edge set. The grain runs straight across both pieces, keeping the original character of the wood intact — cracks, texture, density, and all.

The darkened edges and natural weathering give the set an authentic, organic feel, while the flat, sanded tops provide a clean contrast. Each side has its own personality, but together they hold books with weight and presence.

Whether used in an office, studio, living room, or library, these eucalyptus bookends function as both utility and sculpture — simple, strong, and unmistakably real wood.

Features:

  • Solid eucalyptus block, cut into matching halves

  • Natural textured edges + grain continuity

  • Minimalist design with rustic character

  • Heavy enough to support large books

  • Sanded and finished by hand

  • One-of-one DAC wood piece

  • Approx. size: (12X6in and 12X6 in)

Artist’s Note:“I like pieces that don’t need anything added to them. These bookends were already there — I just revealed the pair inside the block.”
